Craig, a master tutor, has a B.A. in English from UCLA and a M.Ed. in film production from USC, where he received a prestigious merit scholarship award for outstanding editing. Craig is a writer, filmmaker, and educator with 5 years of experience teaching, writing, and film studies at the undergraduate level. Craig has worked in the motion picture industry as a production manager, screenwriter, and producer, working closely with writers and directors to help them realize their ideas on screen. He now enjoys using these listening and partnering skills with students of all ages to help them express themselves with clear and compelling language. Craig continues to write and to consult with other screenwriters. In his spare time, Craig is an avid photographer and loves to hike, read, and discuss ideas with his own school-aged children.

Glenn, a master tutor, returned to college in his early 50's. He earned a B.A. in literature from Ramapo College in 2011, and has gained certification as a NJ English teacher. He completed his student teaching in 2015, working at St. John's Academy (a k-8 Catholic school in Hillsdale, NJ) where he taught 5th graders reading, language arts and social studies. He has worked as a professional writing tutor, both privately and at Bergen Community College since 2008. He has extensive experience helping students (both English speakers and ELLs) develop effective study skills and improve the quality of their written assignments. Glenn is a mature, reliable, outgoing individual who works hard to get students focused and on-task. He is patient, and believes in bringing a sense of humor and a value-based philosophy to his work with students.

Evan, an expert tutor, currently attends Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck NJ, where he is majoring in Biology. He has great experience working with children, including mentoring physically and mentally challenged kids through the TOPsoccer program, tutoring grades 2-8 at his former middle school, where he also supervised after-care and homework support programs. He first gained experience tutoring his two younger siblings in subjects such as elementary level math and science; however, has since expanded his repertoire by completing a series of academically rigorous Advance Placement and Honors courses in: Biology, Chemistry, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Precalculus, and as such is well able to provide tutelage in said subjects. Attesting to his well-developed knowledge in these subjects is his reception of the Salutatorian Honor in high school by graduating 2nd in his high school class. Courtney, an expert tutor, is a 3rd grade school teacher. She has a B.S. in human services from the University of Delaware and is currently working toward earning a M.A. in literacy instruction from Caldwell University. Courtney is an NJ k-6 certified teacher and enjoys teaching all subjects. Courtney ensures that each tutoring session meets the individual's needs. She enjoys getting to know the students, and incorporates their interests and strengths into each lesson. Courtney strongly believes that learning should be fun and helps build the students' confidence by encouraging them to do their best and always ask questions. Courtney loves to read, go to the beach, and go hiking.

Nicole, a master tutor, has a B.A. from Rutgers University and a M.S. from Cornell University in chemistry. She is an educator with over 7 years experience tutoring middle school and high school students. She has tutored extensively; tutoring high school chemistry, SAT chemistry and SAT French. She adapts to the student's needs so as to help them develop their own potential and confidence. She is very patient and friendly and in her spare time, Nicole loves to read, hike and play tennis.

Michele, a master tutor, graduated from Ramapo College of NJ, earning a B.A.
in psychology/elementary education. She then attended Long Island University, earning a M.A. in literacy. Michele is an educator with 13 years of experience teaching elementary and middle school students. She holds NJ certificates as an elementary school teacher, reading teacher and reading specialist. For the last 7 years, her focus has been working with 7th grade students as a reading specialist. Michele is passionate about helping students improve their reading skills and learn a love of reading. In her spare time, Michele enjoys reading, going to the beach and spending time with her young son.

Bianca, an expert tutor, graduated from Jersey City University with a B.A. in Social Studies. She has been working with students and molding young minds since 2008. She graduated from New Jersey City University and is a certified K-12 social studies teacher. Professionally, Bianca is currently teaching high school US I Honors, and AP Psychology at Don Bosco Prep; she has also taught US II and Economics at West Orange High School in addition to eighth grade American History in Kearny, NJ. Bianca strives to work with students to find out how they learn best, and implement the best strategies possible along with innovative activities that address and enrich the many diverse interests and needs of students. She is an enthusiastic educator with a passionate commitment to student centered development and the learning experience. She keeps high standards for herself and the students she works with and emphasizes relevance of class material to the world beyond the classroom.

Rharia, a master tutor, earned a B.B.A. from Baruch College. She then earned a M.A. in education from NJCU. She is a certified teacher who has been teaching for over 15 years. She currently teaches 2nd grade as a dual language teacher in Englewood, NJ. She has taught in all the levels; from pre-kindergarten to middle school. Rharia has spent most of her teaching career in elementary education, specifically second grade. Her teaching style is a combination of using visuals and manipulates in order to make the concepts more understandable and concrete for her students. It is also very important to Rharia that she build a rapport with the students, which brings forth a smooth transition into improving their learning.

Kendall, a master tutor, is a recent graduate from The College of New Jersey. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. in elementary education and a B.A. in psychology. Additionally, she has her New Jersey teaching certification in grades K-5. Kendall has many experiences working one-on-one with children and maintains a strong passion for helping others. Kendall is extremely caring, understanding, and hard working. Ultimately, Kendall loves making sure that her students are grasping material and demonstrating an understanding. In her spare time, Kendall enjoys spending time on the beach, traveling, reading, cooking, and exercising.

Heather, a master tutor, received her B.A. in psychology. She continued her education and obtained her elementary teaching certification in 1997. Heather is kind and patient. She has experience working with students K-6th grade. Heather has over 10 years of teaching experience working with Kindergarten-6th-grade, and she has served several Bergen County school districts. Heather has worked as an in-school support professional for every grade from Pre-K through high school, all subjects. Heather currently lives in Bergen County and loves to read and spend her spare time with her family.

Talin, a master tutor, has a B.A. in mathematics along with a teaching certificate in mathematics. She has experience teaching middle school math (algebra I and pre-algebra,) and basic skills, (literacy, writing and math.) Her tutoring style is very unique, with a focus on developing the weaknesses of her students and helping them build confidence. Her lesson plans are always interactive and targeted to keep the student engaged and focused, no matter the subject matter.

Seleene, a master tutor, earned a B.A. in literature from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She then earned a M.S. in early childhood education and special education. Seleene spent the past 14 years in teaching. She has taught in various communities in New Jersey and in New York City. In each classroom, Seleene has taught children with an array of abilities in general and special education classes. She has worked with students with variety of learning, behavioral, and emotional disabilities. In addition, she has demonstrated success in student learning and satisfaction across several grade levels. Seleene's position with Newark Public Schools, as an inclusion teacher, gave her the ability to work with a diverse group of teachers and students varying in grade levels and abilities. In addition to working with teachers and students from pre-K through grade 8, she was able to provide different models of instruction in the inclusive environment.

Annamarie, a master tutor, has been an accomplished middle school science teacher for 9 years. Having taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade science, she is able to effectively interact with a diverse population of students at a variety of academic levels, by making use of her own fun and unique style of teaching. From an early age, Annamarie has always loved to teach and started out as a dancing instructor. In addition, she also has a passion for science and received both her B.S. and M.S. in science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She initially worked in a hospital lab, where she taught medical microbiology. She then decided to attend teaching classes at New Jersey City State College so that she could assist younger learners. In 2010, Annamarie became a fully certified NJ state K-8 teacher with a specialization in science for grades 5 through 8. She has spent many years tutoring students both after school as well as well as privately especially for grades 6 through 8. Annamarie also has experience working with general education and special education in both formal and informal settings. She currently teaches eighth grade science at a public school in Bergen County where she continues to prepare students to be successful by understanding their individual learning styles.

Cynthia, a master tutor, is a professional writer with 20 years experience in publishing educational textbooks. She has been tutoring and substitute teaching for over 10 years. She teaches SAT/ACT College Test Prep - specializing in English Grammar, Reading and Writing. Cynthia is an avid historian, and her love of historical fiction led her to study to tutor the AP US History "APUSH" exam. She travels frequently and loves helping English Language Learners conquer ESL. In her free time, Cynthia loves to read, play mah jong, and cook. But, if she could stay in school her whole life she would!

Tara, a master tutor, is patient, caring, and compassionate individual who enjoys working with children. She especially enjoys helping children improve their reading skills. Tara holds certifications in elementary education, special education, and Orton Gillingham. Recently, she earned an additional certification as a Dyslexia Specialist.In her free time, Tara enjoys spending time with her family, walking, reading, traveling, and going to the city often to see Broadway shows with her daughter!

Her students have shown growth in their studies and appreciate her enthusiasm. She loves working with students and encourages them to be the best they can be.
