Tom, an expert tutor, received his English BA and his English teaching certificate through New Jersey City University in 2016. Since then, he has worked with students across New Jersey. He is currently employed by the South Hunterdon where he works with a mix of special education students and general education students. Tom enjoys teaching and inspiring others to love reading and writing.

Chris has a Ph.D. in English and has taught and tutored writing and literature on the high school and college levels for over 25 years. Salvatore, a master tutor, graduated from Kean with a Bachelor's degree in English and then earned his Post-baccalaureate Teaching Certification. Since then, he has been teaching English and yearbook classes at Colonia High School. Salvatore has worked with students of all ages and learning abilities. What he focuses on most with his students is the ability to boost their reading comprehension and to be able to write a well-organized, focused paper. In addition to these two ideas, he works with students to find their own voice instead of simply regurgitating information back. He never teaches a story the same way twice to keep the material fresh and adapts it to our current society. One of the most rewarding classes he teaches is a class where he works with Senior students who have yet to fulfill their graduation requirements. In the past two years, he has had a 100% success rate in helping students fulfill their requirement before having to take part in a state portfolio assessment. He has also worked with Seniors on refining their college essays and helping them plan out their post-high school education plans. After graduating in 2012, Matt decided to get some field experience and shipped off to Alaska to work as a Marine Biologist on fishing boats. Matt returned the following year to begin his teaching career in the Edison Township School District, where has been for 5 years. When Matt is off in the summer, he has worked as an English teacher in France, and for the past 2 years works for a company called Rein Teen Tours, where he supervises teenagers on a summer adventure touring the world. Matt believes that all students should have an interactive learning experience, and makes learning fun so students strive to become life long learners. Matt is adaptable in any situation and rises to any challenge presented. His goal is to ensure his students are confident in their abilities. Prior to beginning his counseling career, he was involved in international relations in Washington, DC, and lived in, and traveled to, over 30 countries. His diverse work and travel experience has allowed him to better appreciate the diversity of the human experience, and has enhanced his ability to connect with a diverse range of clients in a supportive and non-judgmental manner. His approach to counseling has also been informed by an extensive study of yoga and eastern philosophy.
